Kos is the second most popular island of the Dodecanese, after Rhodes. It is quite developed in terms of tourism and its facilities are very active in the summer season. Asklepieion

Asclepieion, which served as a healing center in ancient times and took its name from Asclepius, the son of Apollo and the protector of health and medicine, is the most important archaeological site on the island.
Ancient Gymnasium

The Hellenistic Gymnasium is part of a complex from the Hellenistic and Roman periods, which includes the remains of the Acropolis, Hippodrome, Nymphaeum, as well as the temples of Aphrodite and Hercules, a very elaborate structure from the 3rd century BC.

Byzantine Fortress of Pyli
